Performance
The 2025 Telluride is equipped with a 291-horsepower, 3.8-liter V6 engine. This system is tied to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Most trims come with front-wheel drive, with the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. However, the SX Prestige trim level has standard all-wheel drive.
For 2027, the Kia Telluride gets a turbocharged 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. It pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission as well as the same transmission options as the 2025 version. In addition, a hybrid powertrain is available for the 2027 model.
Appearance
The redesigned 2027 Kia Telluride has larger dimensions and a boxier shape. In addition to delivering a more confident look, these changes provide extra cargo space and passenger seating in the cabin. The 2027 Telluride also introduces reshaped headlights that offer a pair of amber LED columns. The headlights flank a redesigned grille that adds to the boxy look. On the sides, the latest version of the Telluride has sleekly defined surfaces as well as lip-style definition rounding over the wheel wells.

Inside the 2027 Telluride, you'll find more changes. The dashboard has been completely redesigned and now features either faux wood or metallic trim. The 12.3-inch infotainment system screen links to the digital instrument panel and stands out from the dashboard for a clean look. The steering wheel has an octagon-like shape with additional touch controls. There is also now an electronic gear shifter placed near the steering column. Both the 2025 and 2027 model years offer captain's chairs in the second row, leather upholstery, wireless device charging, smart safety tech, heated seats in the first two rows, and many other desirable features.
