Battery Test and Replacement
Your battery is responsible for two roles, with the first being to provide electricity to parts such as the headlights and speaker system. The second, and arguably more important goal, is to create a spark in order to get the engine started. Because of this, if your battery ever begins to show signs of waning, such as the engine sputtering or flickering headlights, then you’ll want to stop by our location before you drive across I-94. Tires
Your tires are constantly under duress, as debris on the road can wear away at their treads. So when winter rolls around, make sure to schedule a service appointment so that we can help you with a tire rotation. Because your front pair bears the weight of the engine, they will often degrade more quickly than the rear ones. Tire rotations amend this by swapping their places, with the order depending on if you have a FWD or AWD system on your Sportage, Sorento, or K4. But if you are facing especially harsh conditions, we’d like to recommend using winter tires. They are made with a greater number of indentations and a more elastic type of rubber, allowing them to take on snow and ice with more ease than other seasonal variants.
Heating System
To provide warmth, your air conditioning system circulates waste heat produced by the engine and transports it using engine coolant to the radiator. The air is then blown through vents, filling your cabin and creating a more comfortable environment in the winter. Many issues can go awry with this setup, such as the heater core becoming clogged with debris, not having enough coolant to transport heat, and more. Regardless of the issue, our team will be able to diagnose the problem and return your heating system back to normal.
