The 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid crosses off every item on your list for your next SUV. This compact, two-row crossover SUV is a mid-generation model with a few notable updates to explore and benefit from. The updates extend from the style and features to its engineering.
The Kia Sportage Hybrid's engine in 2026 is the same as the 2025 version. However, this engine gets an added boost of power. The turbo 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine has hybrid tech and gives you 232 combined horsepower. The entry-level LX trim has standard front-wheel drive, and the other four trim levels have standard all-wheel drive.
The refreshed exterior design of the 2026 Sportage Hybrid includes a new look for the grille, headlamps, and wheel design. The model has a tall yet gracefully curved profile with sweeping side contouring that swells over the back haunches. At the front, the rectangular grille is topped by a chrome accent bar. The headlights and foglamps have a series of small, stacked bulbs. The headlights are accented by an amber-colored light ribbon running up the flanks and over the central unit's top.
Inside, the logo on the steering wheel is refreshed. All five trim levels for 2026 have standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are also new options available for select trims. These are upgraded highway driving assistance, a heads up display, and others. The entry-level features that carry forward from 2025 are lane keeping assistance, a six-speaker audio system, a dual-zone auto climate control system, a digital instrument cluster, adaptive cruise control, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, and more.
Other trims are also offered with a 360-degree camera, blind-spot intervention, a Harman Kardon sound system with eight speakers, a heated steering wheel, heated seats in the first and second rows, a panoramic sunroof, and many additional features.
