The 2026 Kia K5 is a four-door sedan that is perfectly practical for families and styled and engineered to deliver thrills behind the wheel. The coveted Kia K5 is unchanged in 2026 and continues to be available in the LXS, GT-Line, GT, and EX trim levels.

The LXS, GT-Line, and EX trim levels are equipped with a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine. It produces 191 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed auto transmission. The Kia K5 GT is outfitted with a turbocharged variant of this engine, which benefits from 290 horsepower. The GT also comes with a sport-tuned suspension, a dual-clutch transmission, and paddle shifters on the steering wheel. All trim levels come with standard front-wheel drive except the GT-Line, which has all-wheel drive.

The 2026 Kia K5 has the sleekness of a sports car with a fastback-style roof line and a well-defined, cascading hood. The definition sweeping across the side panels angles slightly to indicate powerful forward momentum. The bow-tie-shaped grille that Kia is recognized for has a lean, stretched shape on the K5, and it curves upward at the ends as it integrates with the LED headlights. A bolt of amber lighting personalizes the headlights.
